American Standard CEO, Jay Gould, shares his experience traveling to Bangladesh and bringing purpose-driven innovation to developing countries.
Last year, American Standard sought to reinvent the toilet - an initiative that was spearheaded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to create a toilet revolution and develop solutions for the inadequate sanitation that affects nearly four out of ten people worldwide. Through a grant, American Standard engineers developed the SaTo (short for Safe Toilet) which will bring safer sanitation to thousands in Bangladesh this year through Flush For Good.
